Spheeris Land Development has been working with lot buyers and home builders since its inception more than 40 years ago because they understand that each client wants something different for their final product.


The Spheeris Land Development's dedicated team provides continuity throughout all projects by taking care of everything up front: developing plans, designing landscaping & amenities during the construction phase until completion.

Jon Spheeris

Jon Spheeris has successfully worked in the real estate and development business for 45 years. In conjunction with Spheeris Land Development, Jon is also the owner of Coldwell Banker Elite Real Estate Company in Oconomowoc. Throughout his career, Jon has developed his expertise in a variety of areas to ensure that every customer has a memorable and professional experience from beginning to end.


Jon is also truly dedicated to confirming that every project he undertakes is completed with strong attention to detail. Spheeris Land Development is no exception to this rule. Each development becomes a labor of love for Jon, and he works diligently to craft a distinctive development that is also properly maintained over time.


When he is not spending quality time with his family, Jon takes pride in breeding, raising, and showing his remarkable American Saddlebred horses. In addition, Jon is also actively involved in beautifying and improving many aspects of the city of Oconomowoc. He was actively involved in the beautiful rejuvenation of the city’s downtown area and was also named Citizen of the Year as a result of his many contributions to the community.

Matt Spheeris

Matt's passion for real estate and land development was nurtured from an early age by his father, Jon Spheeris, who communicated to his son the importance of hard work and creativity in every aspect of the business. Inspired by his father’s example, Matt energetically pursued a degree in Commercial Real Estate at Marquette University Business School in Milwaukee before joining his own family in business.


Matt’s wide range of experience and creative mindset allow him to successfully implement every aspect of planning for a development from the very beginning until the end.  He finds joy in the entire process of real estate development and is driven by the endless possibilities that each piece of land provides.


When he is not hard at work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Maddie, and their Goldendoodle named Ruby. He also finds time to enjoy life on the lake fishing, boating, or soaking up the sun with friends. Despite his busy life, Matt also actively pursues ways to become more involved in his community, desiring to constantly share his time and talents with others around him.

Alex Spheeris

Growing up immersed in the real estate lifestyle, Alex Spheeris understood the amount of hard work and dedication required for success. His father, Jon Spheeris, provided an example that helped set Alex up for business success. After receiving a degree in Finance from Whitewater University, Alex chose to pursue his burgeoning passion for real estate with his family, helping to find creative solutions for any challenge that the business presented.


As a part of Spheeris Land Development, Alex strives to use his ingenuity to create exceptional properties. Alongside his strong work ethic, Alex truly values his client’s experience, working eagerly to ensure that each person feels comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire process.


Alex’s passions extend beyond work to include a love for many other aspects of life. He enjoys spending time outdoors, working on cars, and relishes his time on the lake whenever he is able.

Lucine Spheeris

Lucine Spheeris is an experienced real estate agent and businesswoman known for her high service standards. Prior to joining the Spheeris team, Lucine worked for ten years in corporate human resources, attaining many significant titles such as Human Resource Director. Lucine’s skillset easily transferred to the world of real estate when Lucine successfully joined her family in business and devoted herself to creating a positive customer experience rooted in thoughtfulness, respect, and best practices.


As a member of the Spheeris Development Team, Lucine provides administrative support as well as her expertise with real estate. Her genuine personality and desire to leave behind a positive experience, make every customer feel important. She finds joy in seeing people genuinely excited about buying a lot and, along with her family, conscientiously works to ensure that each person feels like they are a part of the community.


Though Lucine is often hard at work, she strives to spend time with the many friends and family that are a part of her life. In addition, Lucine loves to spend time outdoors and enjoys walking, biking, or boating in the fresh air. She also actively supports her husband’s love for horses and enjoys spending time with them, especially on a beautiful day.
